1.Remove the wing bolts and open the wings so the chain is observable.
2. Please reference the table below. If the conveyor has more or less than the desired slack please adjust the conveyor accordingly. To see how much slack is in the conveyor lift the chain in the center of the conveyor at four places using channel locks with MINIMAL lift force. If it does not meet the desired requirements please adjust accordingly.
3. Warning-Going directly to tightening the bolts on the front of the paver without going through the following processes is the incorrect way to adjust the conveyor chain tension.
4. If the conveyor chains have more than the desired distance turn the conveyor bolts clockwise ¼ turn at a time using a 15/16 socket, extension, and wrench. (Do not use impact drill)
5. If the conveyor chains have less than the desired distance turn the conveyor bolts counterclockwise ¼ turn at a time using a 15/16 socket, extension, and wrench. (Do not use impact drill)
6. Then check the chain again. If the chain has more or less than the desired distance repeat step 4 or 5.
7. Once completed run the conveyor and then recheck.
8. The bolt holes are located in picture 3.
9. Warning-not having the right distance between the conveyor and chains could cause damage.
10. Once you adjust the chain it should look similar to picture 4.
11. Repeat steps 4-7 for the opposite conveyor.
