6150 Optimize Procedure

For when codes 21, 23, and/or 26 are present.

  1. Turn the machine off. Open the dash board panel and locate the Optimize/Calibrate switch and place it into the Optimize position.
  2. Place all steering wheels and joysticks in the center position and move the Run/Stop switch(s) into the Stop position. Be sure the front wheels are centered!
  3. Turn the power key to the on position (power to the Plus One controller). Outputs are disabled. The status light will blink slowly with no pauses to indicate Optimize Mode.
  4. Wait 5 seconds for the Plus One to capture the steering wheel center position (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured).
  5. Turn steering wheel(s) full right and push the FNR joystick(s) full forward for 5 seconds (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured).
  6. Turn the steering wheel full left and the FNR joystick full reverse for 5 seconds (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured).
  7. Return steer wheel and joystick to center (neutral) position.
  8. The status light will now blink twice rapidly with a slight pause. This indicates that it is time to optimize the steer cylinder sensor. Insure the front wheels are centered.
  9. Start the engine and run at ½ throttle
  10. Place the Run/Stop switch into the RUN position. Wait 5 seconds for the center position of the front steer cylinder to be captured (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured).
  11. Use the steering wheel to turn the front wheels fully left. Wait 5 second for the position to be captured (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured).
  12. Turn the steering wheel right to turn the front wheels fully right. Wait 5 second for the position to be captured (the status light while stay on briefly when the position is captured)
  13. The status light will blink 3 times rapidly indicating the end of the Optimization process. Toggle Optimize/Calibrate switch to the center “off” position and turn off the power key.
