Connect the Plus1 service tool (part number1016444) to the CAN network and your laptop. This is a 3-pin connector usually located on the bottom of the instrument panel, or the gray Y connector near the display. The plug in these connectors is a 120-ohm terminating resistor. The service tool will not communicate if the resistor is not installed in the service tool Y connector.
Turn on the key switch and open the Plus1+1service tool .p1d file. Contact Leeboy Product Support for the appropriate files. Wait a few seconds for the program to connect to the system.
If the program fails to connect, click on the communication tab, select Online Mode and select Gateway. This will be indicated by a green or blue dot for connected or a red dot for disconnected on the lower left of the screen.
Select the correct channel (USB port) for your laptop and click OK.
Click the Scan button and a list of Plus1 ECUs with revisions will appear on the left. The green or blue dot indicates the program is connected. There may be multiple ECUs on the CAN network.
To reflash the ECU, hold Crtl and D and the dialog box below will appear. Select the new file to download to the ECU and click Open.
When the dialog box below appears, select the ECU to be reflashed, if multiple ECUs are listed, to reflash and click Next then Start Download. When the download is complete, click close and it will automatically rescan. The ECU with the new file revision number will appear in the list on the left.
Disconnect the service tool and reinstall the terminating resistor. Optimize the joysticks and Auger/Conveyor potentiometers if necessary.
