How to Remove a Link
Rotate the track so that 2 pins are at the front and above the inner frame.
Cut the outside washers off those 2 pins.
Remove the pins toward the center of the machine and 1 link as shown.
Using a ratchet strap, pull the 2 ends of the track together and reinstall the pin. Weld a new washer on the outside end of the pin.
Start the engine, idle up to 1800 RPMs, and remeasure the distance to ensure there is less than 3” of travel.
