SUBJ: Boots for breaker wires 

Machine Model: 8530/8616D/8520C/8608

Serial Numbers: Units between serial # 264698 (2021 and 380909 (4/17/2023)

Action Requested: ​Information Only​

Adding the boots to the wiring makes it more stable, prevents arcing, and reduces the wire coming loose or rubbing. Have spare parts on hand make it a simple repair and update if accessing or replacing components (e.g. capacitor) . 

Parts Required: 

1014872-17 Boot, Terminal ,Takes 4  boots per unit.

Please order some and have in stock . 

Issue Description: 

Adding boots to prevent rubbing or stress on the wire ends of the breaker.

This update is for belt driven generators used on the 8530, 8616D, 8520C and 8608.

Improvements were done proactively at LeeBoy with product shipments beginning in April of 2023 and serial number was 380909. 

Action Detail:

If working on the generator breaker please add the boots to the wire ends.
